Tumbleweed Pottery was founded in 1977.
The business began with its founder selling handcrafted stoneware, including the "word jars" and mugs, at craft shows and street fairs in North Carolina before establishing physical retail locations. They are now closed, and these great jars are becoming highly collectible. The jar is approximately 5 inches tall. It is in excellent condition. The glaze is still vibrant, and I the only thing to note is a small circular spot or imperfection in the glaze in the letter D. See Photo.. The cork is the original and fits the jar perfectly.
