US Military Surplus
An intermediate cold weather range cap, issued by the US Navy (USN) along with the A-2 deck jacket and pants.
Equipped with an acrylic lining and foldable ear flaps to enhance cold protection during deck work.
1972 contract.
Deadstock, unused item.
No damage affecting wear, aside from age-related deterioration.
Marked Size: MEDIUM
Inner Circumference (actual): Approximately 58cm (hand-measured, so please allow for some error)
It's rare, but the actual size is slightly larger than the marked size.
If you fold the ear flaps outwards, it should fit heads up to about 57.5cm.
With a 58cm head, it's just barely wearable with the flaps down.
Please use this as a reference.
