A steel box for storing U.S. Army first aid kits.
This is a first aid kit box that was mainly deployed for vehicles.
Contents are not included, only the box.
Likely from the 1940s, during World War II.
From the 1950s onwards, many have stock numbers added even with the same print.
Olive drab color with a medical mark.
The waterproof gasket lid has two locks.
It has a handle on one side.
It has minor scratches and rust commensurate with its age, especially on the bottom, but the lid's waterproof gasket is still intact and the locks function without problems.
Considering its age and the number still in existence, it's in excellent condition.
