This exquisite, hand-coiled vintage Hopi pottery bowl is an authentic example of traditional Native American artistry. Crafted using classic coil-and-scrape construction with a buff-colored clay, it features rich black and terracotta Sikyatki-style geometric designs that evoke the Hopi people's connection to the natural world. This unsigned piece is characteristic of early-to-mid 20th-century work, made before pottery became primarily commercialized art. In good vintage condition, it displays natural signs of age, including subtle fading to the paint and a small rim chip, consistent with its history and traditional pit firing. This unique, historically significant bowl would be a striking addition to any collection of Southwestern art. Please review all photos for complete details
