A beautiful bamboo basket purchased about a year and a half ago from spica in Beppu.
It has a leather one-handle, and the glossy bamboo and beautiful weave make it a wonderful basket.

I bought it and kept it in my room to hold linens, using it as interior decoration. It's a new, unused item; I've never used it as a bag.

The last image shows a different color of the leather handle.

It's a lovely basket that will deepen in color the more you use it, and will last for a long time.

Takeko-kan is a bamboo workshop created by Mr. Yashuhiro Takami, a bamboo craftsman with over 40 years of experience, and his wife Ayako, who has 30 years of experience in bamboo craftsmanship. This is a hand-woven basket made by Takeko-kan. The handle uses genuine leather for a more functional design that also perfectly complements modern clothing. Like the mori-kago (a type of basket), its appearance is gentle and dignified from any angle. With the natural color of the Nume leather, you can enjoy the changes in the color of the handle along with the aging of the bamboo.
