Unsure of the history or age of this hat. It is certainly vintage/retro style. It is a beautiful burnt orange (rust) color with decorative feather and rosette elements. I was unable to find definitive information about Stella Bedard. One website states that she was the "English Hat Lady," but I could not find any corroborating evidence. Other research indicates that she was a mid-20th-century American millinery designer known for creating high-quality women's hats in the 1940s-1960s.
Either way, it's a beautiful, cool hat.
