I am selling this as it has been part of my room's interior for many years and hasn't been used.
I tested it by connecting it to a CD player. It reproduces the wonderful sound quality expected of a classic model. I haven't tested it with cassettes or records as I don't have them.
There is no crackling sound from the volume control. I believe there were no other problems with the other knobs, but as it is an old product, I am looking for bids from those who understand this.
