Chromexcel is Horween's oil leather.
It is made using a method developed almost 100 years ago, called combination tanning, where a special blend of oils, including beef tallow, beeswax, vegetable oil, and fish oil (a total of four or more types of oils) is applied and permeated into the leather. Sometimes, the wax and oil that have soaked into the leather may crystallize on the surface. Please gently wipe with a dry cloth.
Sheepskin leather is used on the back for a comfortable feel against the skin.
The smoothness you feel the moment you hold it and the comfort that doesn't cause stress even after long hours of use are its appeal.
Both leathers are finished naturally to make the most of the natural texture of the leather.
The item's charm is that you can enjoy the aging process as it deepens its expression the more you use it.
The brand's icon, the "hidden pony," is subtly engraved on one side of the front.
The back has a minimalist design with only the logo engraved in the center, making it recommended for those who want to enjoy the texture of the leather itself.
