Moondrop Kadenz IEM, Opened Not Used - KATO2 + Foam tips

An amazing upgrade to the Kato. I can see why Moondrop took so long with the replacement. Even after listening to these for just a few hours I they are going to be a hit. This might possibly the greatest single driver IEM. It uses the really nice textured metal shell that the Kato did too. It is doesn't show fingerprints at all. The cable is nicer than the Kato cable, slightly softer, a touch more flexible. both are great cables though. These are really good. They take the Moondrop house sound and lift it to the next level. The bass is clean, well textured and impactful. The mids are nicely tamed so the earphones are not too bright and have the main instruments with good presence. The vocals are really impressive, because of the way the midrange and upper treble has been tuned the vocals sit very well in the mix, with backing singers being audible and really adding to the vocal harmonies. I really like these. They offer a good alternative to the Aful P5 and Tanchjim Oxygen.
