Like new in box, vintage Pleasant Company Samantha's Accessories come in original early white box with iridescent images of Samantha. The beautiful burgundy velvet hat has rose, dove grey, and gold colored ribbons tied into bows - great shape. Her bow-shaped brooch with a heart-shaped locket is still wrapped in original plastic.... "Made in Taiwan for Pleasant Company" sticker. It comes with pictures of her mother and father to place inside. "Copyright 1986 Pleasant Company" printed on the bottom. The rose velvet clutch purse has a golden clasp and chain that slips over her wrist...metal is still shiny and bright. Her reproduction Indian head penny, a coin used during Samantha’s time, comes in envelope - ripped on top. Beautiful accessory set for Samantha! The "Samantha Parkington" pamphlet, dated 1991, is included as well. The box has writing on the top and is crushed in with a small rip on the side. I found her handkerchief, and it will be included with this set.
