♪ Linea Fresca top (sweater) and pants

I am selling these items to organize my closet.

For those familiar with the era, no explanation is needed, but this is a mohair sweater and pants from the brand "Linea Fresca" by Masayuki Eihou, who was a top designer in the men's fashion field in the 1980s. I remember purchasing them around 1984, when DC brands were starting to become popular. Along with Issey Miyake, Takeo Kikuchi (BIGI), Mitsuhiro Matsuda (Nicole), Yohji Yamamoto (Y's), and Rei Kawakubo (Comme des Garçons), Linea Fresca was a very popular brand.

These top and bottom pieces are early works by Eihou, and I believe they represent the period when his excellent design sensibilities were most evident.

I have carefully stored them in my dresser for about 40 years, thinking, "I might wear them again someday..."

The combination of the top and bottom as a set is truly wonderful (in my opinion), so I am not considering selling them separately.

Top (Sweater): Color is black, material is 80% mohair and 20% wool. It's a light, easy-to-wear type.

Bottom (Pants): Color is charcoal gray, material is 95% wool and 5% nylon. They have a sophisticated design with front pockets with flaps and a waist buckle. The fabric has a tweed-like texture.

The pants have been dry cleaned.

Condition: Both the sweater and pants use very high-quality materials, and there are no damages such as tears or fraying. Being dark-colored, there are no noticeable stains. The sweater has some pilling. Also, mohair tends to attract dust, which I will remove as much as possible before shipping.
