Jan Schmid is also known as the founder of the famous Czech theater "Studio Ypsilon," and his style is very graphical and playful. It features collages, bold typography, and vivid colors.
While it is an adventure story for children, it is also highly regarded in the context of art and design as one of the masterpieces of modern and avant-garde book design in 1960s Czechoslovakia.
