According to the previous owner, this is approximately 350-year-old Japanese nutmeg (kaya) with straight grain. As shown in image N.5, that's the approximate age; I counted using a magnifying glass because my eyesight isn't good.
The original log is probably over 50 years older.
Size: 45.5cm x 42cm, thickness 20.5cm ("6 sun 8 bu"), total height including legs 32cm, weight 15.5kg.
White stones: Hon-guri (genuine clam shell) 180 pieces, diameter 2.2cm, thickness 1.02cm.
Black stones: Nachi stones 178 pieces, diameter 2.2cm, thickness 1.05cm.
Go stone containers: Material is likely mulberry or keyaki (Japanese zelkova).
☆ The price is set very low because there is no protective cover for the board.
