Game Boy Color Console Laminated IPS LCD v3 Retro Pixel GBC

This is a Game Boy Color customized with a laminated IPS LCD v3.

Compared to the original:
The screen display area is about 25% larger.
There is nothing between the LCD and the glass screen, so
it looks better and there is no discomfort when viewed from an angle.
A protective film is already applied to the screen, so please peel it off yourself.

Brightness can be adjusted in 8 steps by touching the sensor on the top of the unit.

Press and hold the sensor or press Start and Select simultaneously to call up the OSD menu (Image 5).

In the OSD menu, press and hold the sensor to switch items.
Touch the sensor or use the Start and Select buttons to
change the values.

BRT: Brightness adjustment

DSP: Screen effect switching (Image 6)

FRM: Frame interpolation function on/off
Can reduce screen flickering in some games.

LGC: Logo color change (Image 7)
You can adjust it with RGB in addition to the presets.

N: Switch to page 2 to adjust the screen position and
test the logo lighting pattern.

To exit the menu mode, press Start and Select simultaneously again or wait a few seconds and the menu will disappear.

The board and contacts have been cleaned.
The capacitors have been replaced with larger capacity ones.

If you wish, the infrared sensor parts can be changed to black.
