' Product Overview '
The ATEX-EPF-AC-30-GLVD Portable Evaporative Cooling System is ATEX-rated for use in hazardous location work environments. This flameproof galvanized air chiller combines a non-sparking fan and dry mist technology to cool combustible work areas that do not have access to traditional air conditioning. This portable cooling is equipped with a 34-gallon tank and a water filter to cool the work environment for up to 8 hours. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO THIS PRODUCT* The Larson Electronics evaporative cooling unit is designed for ATEX-rated combustible environments. Using dry mist technology, this air chiller ensures that your work site stays dry while lowering the ambient temperature. At 36" wide by 39" deep by 66" tall, this evaporative cooling unit can reach an evaporation zone of 5`-10`. With a 30" inch fan and eight spray nozzles, this unit is applicable to work areas with smaller access ways. The portable cooling system will automatically shut off once the water reservoir is empty, so operators don't need to worry about burning out the pumps. The ATEX-EPF-AC-30-GLVD has an ambient temperature rating of 10° to 65°C.
With a fan unit running at 8723 RPM, this galvanized portable misting unit can chill any industrial or commercial space in need of a cool down. Since one tank can easily last an entire work shift, there is no need for messy hose connections running throughout the work space. It is designed to be self-maintaining, therefore operators will not need to interrupt their work to replace pads or clean the nozzles.

This unit comes with a 30" spark proof aluminum blade and enclosed wire and motors. The fan blades are spark resistant and the unit is easily transported to various job sites. This cooler is easily transferred with 6" pneumatic wheels and connects via a 20` cord terminating in an ATEX-rated plug. This unit operates on 120V AC, 60 Hz or 220V AC, 50 Hz. Wiring & Plug: The ATEX-rated air mister is equipped with 20 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an IEC 60309 ATEX-rated cord cap. This hazardous location plug features polyamide construction, recessed brass pins, a 16 amp current rating. **PLEASE NOTE** voltage ratings on plugs and outlets are MAXIMUM voltage. For low voltage applications, proper voltage must be applied to the outlet or damage to the light fixture will occur. The ATEX-EPF-AC-30-GLVD hazardous location evaporative cooling unit is easy to move around with its quick connect crane pick-eye and its galvanized steel frame ensures minimal rusting and maximum longevity as well as a very easy to clean surface. Applications include ATEX-rated areas, including oil rig floors, construction sites, and tank cleaning applications.
