Levi's 503BXX
In the 1990s, PB replica denim brands were launched in Japan, and Levi Strauss Japan released a reproduction of the 501 to compete with them. However, they were not granted permission from the US to use the 501 lot number, so it became the 503B.
This reproduction model incorporates details reminiscent of the 501 from around 1955.
- Hidden rivets
This is a Japan-exclusive original model made for adults, based on the boys' size. The buttons are the same as the 501, but the model number is 503, a Japan-exclusive reproduction model.
