Rare pre-publication copy with limited distribution intended to garner reviews and for grassroots promotion. Book one in the fantasy series, The Word & Void - a part of the greater universe of Shannara novels. A fairly worn copy with rubbing, scuffing and creases to covers. Corners bumps. Spine is slanted and binding material is visible in gutters between covers and text block, though all pages are attached and binding remains fairly strong on the whole. Heavy foxing to many pages, especially near beginning and end of book as well as to several pages around Chapter 28 where liquid exposure has caused waviness and additional tanning.
