Gorgeous antique solid sterling silver spoon by Whiting Mfg. Co., patented 1875. Features the highly detailed “Arabesque” pattern with a bird in flight, scrolls, and ornate floral engraving — a hallmark of the Aesthetic Movement era. Monogrammed “McG.” Measures approx. 6¾" long and weighs 27g. Marked with Whiting’s “W” hallmark, “STERLING,” and “PAT. 1875.” Retailed by Roehm & Wright. A beautiful example of early American Victorian silver design.
