Elegant late-19th-century oyster plate featuring beautifully scalloped wells, raised molded scrollwork, and fine hand-applied gold accents that catch the light beautifully. The crisp white ground and refined Victorian style make this a standout plate for display in a coastal home, china cabinet, or antique collection.
Measures approx. 9.75". Overall lovely for display, with a few age-related imperfections typical of antique porcelain: some small nicks mainly inside the center well and a tiny spot on the underfoot rim. Light wear to gilding. Underside with impressed numbers; maker attribution not confirmed. Still a graceful and charming survivor from the 1800s, full of character.
