This RARE stunning filigree and gemstone necklace can be attributed to E.A. Bliss Co by it's E.A. Co mark featuring a bee on the back of the pendant. E.A. Bliss is the predicesor to the highly coveted costume Jewelry brand Napier which took over and renamed the company to Napier-Bliss in 1922. This particular bee marking dates this gorgeous piece to approximately 1900, which makes it well over a hundred years old.
Measuring at approximately 9.5" in length, with a type of fishhook clasp, all gems are intact, with no broken or missing bits, an evenly coated patina, with some wear due to it's long life, but otherwise in wonderful pre-owned antique condition.
Metal acid tested and is likely gold plated. Gems have not been tested.
